No Bake Granola Bars!

I am told these granola bars are "gluten free" So I am posting this for all those with gluten allergies. I know some people who have also substituted the peanut butter for peabutter if you have peanut allergies.

No-Bake Granola Bars

8 min | 8 min prep

24 bars
2 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

In large bowl, combine cereal, rolled oats and raisins; set aside.
In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and corn syrup.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Stir in peanut butter and vanilla; blend until smooth.
Pour over cereal mixture; mix well.
Press into ungreased 13"x 9" pan.
Cool; cut into 24 bars.

What a great recipe!! And what a coincidence! I was just checking the blogs I follow and I found your post!
I was thinking earlier about making some home made cereal bars for my daughter have for breakfast, she is not a big fan of cereals but she loves those cereal bars :|
I'll try to make them today!

Thanks for sharing!

YUM! Definitely trying this recipe! I have a similar recipe. I call it my "breakfast bar" recipe. I add dried cranberries, raisins, sunflower seeds, and pepitas.
