Hmmm, I sorta meal plan because I do once a month cooking so meals are planned but not on one day. Does Sandi Richards show still come on?
That book sounds great! No, I don't really meal plan anymore, but need too. I would love tips on planning on nights that are late due to sports practices. :)
I LOVE Sandi's meal plans.. I follow them quite often.. it is so much easier to know what you're eating all week then spending 30 mins after working all day trying to figure dinner out.
PS.. I also follow your blog, and would LOVE to win that book!
PPS... I don't create my own meal plans, but I use Sandi's and the "One Bag, 5 Dinners" meal plans from the Kraft Canada website
Oh, I'm a follower now. :)
I don't usually know what we are having for dinner until an hour before. I'm not a very good meal planner! :)
I plan out the week of meal every week....for budgetary reasons. I am an advocate of the canada food guide, in order to lose the baby weight!
i do a rough plan every weekend for the following week. i might write PORK for WED. i never know what i'm doing w it til later but at least it gets taken out of the freezer (which for me is that hardest part!)...
Hi Amber! Yes, I make a weekly meal plan. First, I look at what activities each kid has going on each night and then I plan a meal that allows me the time to make dinner each night. I don't always stick to what day we eat what meal, but I always have 5 to 7 meal ideas for the week. Besides needing a meal plan for sanity sake, I can't stand wasting food, so I'm never buying perishable stuff that won't be used that week.
Canadian, I have no idea hahaha!
You are my meal planner. And I love you for it!! :)
how do i enter the draw ..is it ridged that little sisters can't win should I get Camrinderjit to enter!
I could do a eating out meal plan...
let's see today egg sandwich, fastfood Chinese, thai food. ooh the life of a traveller
I plan in the morning what I am making that night.....does that count? I know I should plan, but whenever I have tried that I find myself changing it because I didn't "feel" like what was on the menu for that night.....
